About the event
In this session, we’ll be pouring out the insider-secrets about what pre-seed and early seed investors look for, when screening potential investment cases in the near future. We’ll also look into which metrics you should be able to present at your pitch- and how to get them!
Are you planing to fundraise in 2020 or struggling to unlock considerable funding for your startup? 💰
Securing funding is the #1 game-changer for founders with the ambition to build and scale a global business. Without it, even the best founders have difficulty reaching proof of concept, product-market fit developing and generating enough interest needed for future financing.
However, the ability to catch an investor’s attention is fine arts in its own.
Fundraising is already an uphill battle, and we learned from our recent international VC panel debate that fundraising will be even tougher after the pandemic, although not impossible. So, at PreSeed Academy, we thought about, just how we can help you succeed with fundraising now, and in the near future. Our answer is getting nerdy with how to get an investor’s attention and nailing your pitch in the current funding climate.
What to expect
At PreSeed Ventures, we’ve helped more than 400 founders and continue to help new ones. In other words, we know the pitfalls to avoid and the mountains to climb when fundraising. Our experienced Investment Director, Anders Kjær, will take you through 15 minutes of tips and tricks that can save you a lot of time in preparation for VC fundraising- and maybe even put you in the front seat at your next early stage VC fundraising round. He will also talk about which metrics you need to establish today to win over the VCs.
Not quite there yet? Nicolaj Højer, business angel and serial entrepreneur, will let you in on the secrets of attracting business angels and which metrics someone like him wants to see. He’s an expert on the matter as the author of the Startup Funding Book and an experienced external lecturer at CBS, so get ready to take notes on this one.
To be fair, we do recognize, that being in your position is different than ours. So we’ve asked the successful serial fundraiser Stine Mølgaard from Radiobotics to join us, and tell you all her secrets.
