How do I get customers for my B2B startup?
Getting a business-to-business startup off the ground is fundamentally different from succeeding with a consumer-oriented company.
We are therefore dedicating our fifth StartupTalk to B2B sales and marketing
This event will help you answer important questions like:
– How is B2B sales and marketing different from B2C?
– Which marketing and distribution channels are early-stage B2B startups using?
– How to avoid the most common mistakes within B2B sales and marketing?
Dennis Kayser, CEO, Forecast – As the founder and CEO Dennis has managed to build a business that expanded from 2 to 32 countries in only 9 months and recently raised dkk 18 millions from Sunstone Tech Ventures and SEED Capital. The success of the ressourceplanning-tool for Forecast has build a project management tool that through AI and machine learning helps organisations to control their ressources. With a background in Computer science Dennis and his co-founders are data-geeks, which does not only show in their product but also in their approach to sales and marketing. They’ve proven very skilled at generating leads and have worked thoroughly with a data-driven method to develop their sales funnel, which means they now have a very solid foundation for scaling the business.
Mikkel Christian Sørensen, CEO, Omnio – Mikkel and his co-founder Mikkel are building the google translate for industrial devices and systems. The idea for the IoT startup was sparked when the two guys worked at Maersk Drilling and headed up one of the largest IoT-projects connecting 270,000 containers to a software solution. And it is exactly Mikkel’s background that benefits him when it comes to sales and marketing at Omnio. Selling a product to big industrial clients entails long and exhausting sales cycles, that can easily kill a small startup almost before it has begun, but Mikkel has the experience to know what it takes, which has already resulted in a pilot-project with the German software giant SAP.
The event is free to attend. But due to the limited number of seats we are enforcing a no-show fee: If you have signed up but do not show up, we will invoice you 200 kr.
