Learn how to come from idea to a successful business with serial-entrepreneur Thor Angelo
Thor Angelo co-founded LanguageWire in the year 2000 and grew that from an idea in a Powerpoint into a translation company with more than 100 employees, offices in 8 countries and 26 million USD annual turnover. Thor left LanguageWire in mid 2012 and is now in the process of disrupting yet another industry, the take-away business, as investor and co-founder of OrderYoYo. He yet again managed to grow the company very fast – with sales across Europe, 55 employees and have raised close to 3 million Euro in venture capital.
Nicolaj Højer Nielsen will kick off the event with an introduction to the latest research within the fascinating field of startup failures: Why do the majority of new startups fail, and how can we as founders increase the chance of success?
Nicolaj is a serial-entrepreneur who has co-founded several companies (including Penneo, Sepior, CodeSeaker and MotilityCount) and furthermore is an investor in several others (including Capdesk, Forgotton Anne, Pento, PlatoScience, MeetinVR, Supwiz). Nicolaj is an external lecturer in entrepreneurship at CBS and also the author of the Startup Funding Book.
